What wine do you like?
11/28/21
“What wine do you like?” Much of my “job” is to figure out what people might like in regards to their own personal taste, and then expand from there. I love it! It could get complicated and snobby, but it shouldn’t. Instead, it should be a simple and informative process of discovery. Let your taste buds guide you.
Here is some of what folks have been digging recently, along the Verde Valley Wine Trail:
• chateautumbleweed 2020 Vermentino for white, and 2019 Cousin Idd for red blends.
• merkinvineyards 2019 Tarzan Red for Spanish red blends.
• vinostachewinery 2019 The Gunfighter for AZ red blends that wins the gunfight.
• javelinaleapvineyard 2019 Zinfandel for single varietal red.
• daranch_vineyards 2020 Willow White and 2019 Red Barn Red.
• caduceuscellars 2017 Le Cortigiane Oneste for red blends (especially with pasta).
• deepskyvineyard 2017 Eclipse for red blends (and Malbec lovers).
• southwestwinecenter 2020 Viognier for a white as fresh as 1st harvest.
There are so many more of course, from all the amazing men & women producing wine in Arizona. Those are just a few that my guests have been repeatedly loving. Cheers!!
