Start your day off right, or revitalize mid-day with a bevie that’ll keep you going. Local Juicery is awesome and worth the stop. It’s located in West Sedona near lots of hiking trails and other areas of interest.

Home to the original chocolateers of Sedona, you have to treat yourself! Chocolatree also offers vegan foods, smoothies, elixers, and plenty more. Sit in the garden and escape the heat for a bit.

After that, head to Airport Mesa to catch the sunset and fantastic views of Thunder mountain.

I’m not sure you’ll even want to venture outside of the hotel – but when you do, you’ll be in the center of Sedona right in the Tlaquepaque arts & shopping village.

You can go here for a great burger loaded with options of course, but this is also your place if you love empanadas and tapas. Don’t miss it, especially if you’re staying in the Village of Oak Creek during your visit.

Nearby, you can hit the Bell Rock trail head to work it off!

The Flatiron Cafe

One saying in Jerome goes, “We’re all here, because we’re not all there.” So if you want a funky place for a bite and locally roasted coffee, go here. You can also stay above the cafe!

Then go do some shopping and make your way to the Mine Museum for some old mining and Ghost Town history.

Jerome Ghost Tours

Jerome, Arizona is rich in history. We visit there on many of our wine tours, because we love the town so much.

If you’re into hauntings and ghost stories, you should sign up for a tour during your stay. With Jerome being dubbed “The Wickedest city in the West” back in 1903, you’ll be sure to run across some charectors from the past. Ooh!

Old Town Cottonwood is minutes away, where you can stroll the streets for food, wine, antiques, shopping, and so much more. Tuzigoot monument and Dead Horse Ranch are close and provide nice little hikes. Or visit Blazin’ M Ranch if you’re feeling the Western spirit!
